SHALLAL STUDIOS have a new home!
at St Peters Church Hall, Newlyn.
Lots going on and so pleased.. to have new artists working with us: Barry back from his travels soon and Phoebe has returned to Cornwall with enthusiasm and wonderful experience.
Chalk drawings on the pavement/prom by Newlyn Art Gallery most Friday afternoons till the end of term in support of Extinction Rebellion and Friday Strikes for Climate..
My brain is busy filtering the information from dancers in the wildflower meadow at Kestle Barton, dance theatre, moving art...wonderful emotive symbolic images.
Embodied Space, Shallal Dance Theatres new project was originally conceived for gallery spaces and we are taking outside and indoors....it's worth seeing and we value your feedback.
Working with filmmaker Adam Drake soon, starting with film as the primary medium/focus and his choice of music, starting with just 2 dancers who know each other very well, Anna and Maybelle, we shall see where we go with it.
